White Ladder – Rachel Miller

White Ladder – Rachel Miller

Saturday November 10th – Sunday December 9th 2018

Ink Paintings
‘We’re living in a strange time’
Making an artwork is a journey and the finished piece is a story unfolding before our eyes; though each person’s perception of the narrative is their own.

Collage Drawings
‘Heading for a strange shore’
Start out thinking of what you want to say then search for ways of saying it. Collage is one way to begin a visual conversation; drawing and painting complete the picture.

Sculptures
‘Climbing on the strangest ladder that was ever there to climb’
Objects have a way of inhabiting the space around you and quietly suggesting other worlds running parallel to yours. They often reject ownership and even long for a small piece of vacant land in which to change with time.
