Showcasing Hokianga's richly diverse arts community & guest artists
Our annual summer exhibition will open at 11 am on Saturday 16th December and run to 11 February.
This show features new paintings, prints, photography, weaving, ceramics, carving, and more, from 20 Northland artists.
We look forward to seeing you at the gallery over the summer.
The idea for this new collaboration of Dawn Harris and Andries Willemse came from a time of change, within our community and ourselves.
To mark this time of advancement we asked ourselves the question, ‘What If … ?’
The body of work for the exhibition is all new work, using mixed media on canvas, bringing the last 10 years of creating full circle.
Gallery open 10am to 3pm Tuesday to Sunday
Matariki is a special time of celebration and renewal and our artists have created some special works to recognise this.
The car ferry has returned to service and we are open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 3pm. We look forward to seeing you at the gallery soon.
